CHIKARA blogsters and nerds alike, welcome to Touchdown City! I know you all remember me as one of the best YLC champions in the history of CHIKARA. However, time has gone by. I am no longer eligible, and with #COTI15 I've got my eyes set on a new prize. My team, Dasher’s Dugout, has a whole new goal to chase. Did I mention we have a new player on our side of the field? A game-changer. The only female Young Lions Cup champion in history - the current champ - Heidi Lovelace!

My mind has been racing since “Aniversario” in Easton. How could such a strong team lose an important match like we did? Dasher's Dugout is championship material. Do we have a weak link? Obviously the three of us, you know The Golden Trio, we can overcome any hurdle put in our path. There’s no doubt you have big shoes to fill, Heidi.

But I don't want you to feel singled out. I read your last blog, and you can’t blame yourself. Being an undefeated YLC champion, I can give you advice about the way to approach your Cup matches. And as a former Campeon, I can tell you a thing or two about teamwork too.

I didn't always click with my teammates. I didn't always have people rooting for me. I did some things that people will never forget, nor will they ever forgive me for. That never got in the way of my success. We can only write the future, from here on out. Think positive about what's going on in the ring, and check your surroundings. You can always innovate with your surroundings, doesn't matter what or where. People think you’ve got something to prove, they forgot what you’re all about while you were on tour in Japan. Well take it from me, it doesn’t matter if they want to knock you. None of us are immortal, we only strive to be so. Hatfield believes in you, Icarus believes in you, and so do I. That’s what matters.

Now that you're with us, and you’ve got that golden Cup, the lights are going to be on you at all times. My best advice for you Heidi is: “champions are made when nobody is looking." Use the time wisely.

It's GOOD.

While I was in Japan, I often thought about my return to CHIKARA. When Dasher Hatfield drafted me for his "Dugout" and I saw the complete team he assembled for this year's Challenge of the Immortals, my anticipation grew. I was determined to be an asset to the group, to be a key player on an already-stacked team. Mr. Hatfield and Mr. Touchdown are former Campeones de Parejas. And Icarus has about done it all - from King of Trios to the Grand Championship. That's a lot to live up to for this recently-crowned Young Lions Cup champ.

Unfortunately, this past Sunday in Easton at "Aniversario," I felt like I wasn't much of an asset. After I was pinned by the Proletariat Boar, I was overcome with guilt. I felt that I let my team down at a moment when they were counting on me the most. This was my return to CHIKARA after months honing my craft in Japan! On Sunday, I was the weak link on a team made up of CHIKARA greats.

I don't know how I'm going to prove myself to my partners yet, but I also cannot lose sight of my other responsibilities - like defending this Cup. I am aware that many other members of the roster are petitioning for a shot, and I am more than ready to take on all challengers. I know each of you had to wait several long months for your chance at my Young Lions Cup. Well, the wait is over. Start lining 'em up, Mr. Quackenbush. I've got some catching up to do.

Nothing could have prepared me for my first tour of Japan. I was given words of wisdom and tips from my more experienced peers but once I arrived at the Stardom training facility I realized I was in for the most intense adventure of my life. Over my three month tour, I shared a ring with some of the BEST women in the world and trained at one of the most prestigious dojos in Japan. However, my obligations back home in America, as the newly crowned Young Lions Cup champion, weighed heavily on my mind.

I know that in order to be a successful champion, I must be a fighting champion. I am more than ready to defend the Cup against any ant, any princess, anyone in the world that deserves a shot. I know there is a multitude of talented Young Lions out there who would love to knock me off of this mountain. Now that I'm home, I won't be a hard lady to find. I worked SO hard to win this Cup, I plan on working even harder to keep it.

It's time I showed the CHIKARMY what I learned over the last 3+ months. It's been tough reading the results from overseas, knowing I should be there, standing alongside Dasher and Icarus and Mr. Touchdown. The fun has started without me. Season 15, and "Challenge of the Immortals." Well in the month of May, it's time I enter the fray.
